I thought it was one of the - if not the best - national conferences I have attended.
Great job! I enjoyed the conference and have returned to work motivated to implement the new learnings.
The concurrent sessions I attended provided valuable knowledge on a variety of topics including: data collection, analysis and evaluation; smoke-free environments; tobacco policy and practice within health care institutions; cessation attitudes and behaviours of health professionals and how they influence counseling practices and building and enhancing partnerships.
I found that the conference and conference attendees helped re-establish my enjoyment and passion for the tobacco control work that I am involved in. At times when I am working, I forget that there are other people across the country who are passionate about tobacco control and that they are all working as hard as I am to make a difference around tobacco in our society. I have returned from the conference with renewed energy for my day to day tasks.
